How to activate and change spellcheck settings for RigGuide

This guide will help you activate and configure spellcheck in RigGuide by adjusting browser settings. The instructions cover Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome.

For Microsoft Edge

Activate spellcheck

Steps to activate spellcheck

  1. Open Microsoft Edge.

  2. Click the More three dots in the upper-right corner to open the menu.

  3. Select Settings.

  4. Navigate to Languages in the left-hand menu.

  5. Under Check spelling, toggle the switch for the language(s) you want to enable spellcheck.

Change spellcheck language

Steps to change language

  1. In the Languages settings, click Add languages under the Preferred languages section.

  2. Search for the language you need and click Add.

  3. Move the new language to the top of the list by clicking the More three dots next to it and selecting Move to the top.

  4. Ensure the toggle under Check spelling is enabled for your selected language.

For Google Chrome

Steps to activate spellcheck

  1. Open Google Chrome.

  2. Click the More three dots in the upper-right corner and select Settings.

  3. In the left-hand menu, click Languages under the Advanced section.

  4. Scroll to Spell check and toggle the option to Enable spell check.

  1. In the Languages settings, click Add languages under the Languages section.

  2. Search for the desired language and click Add.

  3. Click the More three dots next to the new language and choose Display Google Chrome in this language (optional for interface language).

  4. Toggle the spellcheck option for the selected language under the Spell check section.

Tips for RigGuide users

Ensure your preferred language is added and enabled for spellcheck in your browser. Refresh the RigGuide page to apply the updated spellcheck settings. Spellcheck supports multiple languages, so you can toggle between them as needed.
